Beatriz Vergara Domecq is the Corporate Director of Wine Tourism at the González ByassGroup. She oversees wine tourism at the group’s wineries, which are present in Spain’s main Designations of Origin (D.O.): Beronia (La Rioja), Vilarnau (Penedés), Viñas del Vero (Somontano), Pazo de Lusco (Rías Baixas), and Tío Pepe (Jerez), where, in addition to the visitor center, she manages the hotel, restaurant, corporate and private events, Tío Pepe Festival, shops, and the online store. She also manages wine tourism at Bodegas Pedro Domecq (Baja California, Mexico) and Veramonte and Neyen (Chile). Each year, these wineries welcome more than 350,000 visitors.

Born in Jerez, she studied Marketing and Advertising in Madrid and worked for four years in the fashion industry as Purchasing Director and National Expansion Manager for N.M. American Fashion, part of the Don Algodón Group. She joined González Byass in 1996.
