Sid van Wijk

Head of High Touch Programs at Miro

In a world saturated with digital communication, Sid van Wijk believes that the most effective way for brands to stand out remains unchanged: a compelling human story, told face-to-face. With more than 10 years of experience in high-touch customer engagement and experience design, Sid has dedicated his career to designing environments and programs where strategy, storytelling, and human connection come together.

Sid’s mission is to elevate Customer Engagement Centers (CEC) to the world stage and establish them as core strategic capabilities for every B2B enterprise. He views the CEC as the ultimate storytelling environment — a place where ideas spark innovation, strategy is experienced rather than explained, and meaningful relationships are built through direct executive interaction.

His passion for storytelling began early, after delivering his first professional presentation at the age of 17 (about Online Gaming) and witnessing the impact a well-crafted story can have on an audience. Combined with his Masters in Mechanical Engineering and IT, and a deep curiosity for technology, this evolved into a focus on designing stories that are not just communicated, but experienced. By blending narrative, experience design, and technology, Sid has consistently turned both physical spaces and engagement programs into platforms for connection and insight.

Today, Sid leads all high-touch customer engagement programs at Miro, including the Miro Discovery Center and the Customer Advisory Board. In this role, he designs and runs executive briefings and advisory engagements that support Miro’s largest strategic customers.

In parallel, Sid serves on the Board of GACEP, where he works with some of the world’s largest B2B enterprises to strengthen and evolve their Executive Briefing Center programs, contributing to industry best practices and the future of executive engagement.
