The 2027 edition of the conference takes place at Swarovski Kristallwelten in Wattens, with the opening reception in Innsbruck on Monday evening. Below is a selection of hotels our team can recommend, in Innsbruck as well as in Wattens.
Innsbruck gives you the city, restaurants and the old town within walking distance, and a train or drive of around twenty minutes to Wattens. Staying nearer the venue means a shorter journey in the morning and a quieter evening.

DION Hotel Wattens
The 4 star DION Hotel Wattens sits directly opposite the Swarovski Crystal Worlds complex.

Adlers Innsbruck
If you’d like to stay in the centre of Innsbruck and travel out to the conference each day, ADLERS is a practical base. It is the tallest hotel in the city, with the rooms on the upper floors looking out over Innsbruck and the surrounding Tyrolean peaks. The old town is a five-minute walk away and Innsbruck’s main station is right next door.
Rooms are done in a modern alpine-urban style with floor-to-ceiling windows. The weitsicht restaurant and bar are on the 12th floor, together with a roof terrace, and there is a spa on the 11th floor with sauna, steam bath and infrared cabin.
Getting to the conference: Swarovski Kristallwelten in Wattens is about 20 minutes by car. By train it is roughly 17 minutes from Innsbruck main station to Fritzens-Wattens, with departures several times an hour, plus a short onward connection to the venue.
Stay right in the middle of Wattens, within easy walking distance of the conference: The 4 star Goldener Adler is an excellent choice. This welcoming hotel sits in the heart of Wattens.

It’s located on a quiet street just a six-minute walk from Innsbruck’s main train station, making the commute to Wattens straightforward.

Travel to Wattens
Swarovski Kristalwelten is located in Wattens, a small village in the mountains of Tirol, on 15 driving minutes from Innsbruck or 20 minutes from Innsbruck airport. Getting to Wattens is straightforward: the venue is right on the Inntal motorway (A12), less than two hours from Munich, around four from Stuttgart and five from Milan.
If you prefer to go by public transport there is a shuttle bus going from the main train station in Innsbruck straight to Kristalwelten. There is also an option to go to the Fritszen-Wattens station and take a 5 minute taxi up to the venue.
